Cold Drawn Bar / Bright Bar
"Precision Finished"
Hot rolled bars that have been pulled through a die at room temperature (Cold Drawing) to achieve a precise size and smooth finish.
"Polished Calibration"
If Hot Rolled is a rough sketch, Cold Drawn is a precise technical drawing. It is smooth, straight, and exact—ready to fit into precision machinery without further surface preparation.
Often called "Bright Bar" due to its shiny, scale-free surface. It offers tight dimensional tolerances (h9, h10) and increased tensile strength due to work hardening. Perfect for high-speed CNC machining and precision shafts.
