Hot Rolled Coil - HRC
"The Universal Feedstock"
The most traded form of flat steel. It is processed from slabs and wound into coils for efficient transport and storage.
"Rolls of Industrial Fabric"
Just as a tailor buys fabric by the roll, manufacturers buy steel by the coil. It is raw potential waiting to be unrolled and shaped.
A continuous strip of hot rolled steel, wound into a coil. It serves as the "mother material" for downstream industries. It can be uncoiled to make sheets, slit into narrow strips, or cold-rolled to make thinner, smoother products.
